We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level Contract/Part-Time Event Marketing Manager with a specialization in creating content for, producing, and project managing live and virtual events. The ideal candidate will bring a creative flair, strategic thinking, and excellent organizational skills to enhance our brand presence through impactful events. The role also involves abstract development based on Winning by Design thought leadership to elevate our content strategy.
- Event Production:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of live and virtual events, ensuring seamless operations and a fantastic, high-end customer experience.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and other event-related details.
- Integrate Winning by Design content into event planning to optimize audience engagement and experience.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all event-related communication, providing excellent customer service.
- Draft and send invitations, agendas, and follow-up communications to event participants.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and event attendees.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the WbD marketing team to ensure timely production of event collateral, such as signage and invitations.
- Develop persuasive promotional content to fill attendance at the events, including social media posts, emails, and other collateral
- Incorporate Winning by Design thought leadership into content strategies to surround the events, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Project Management:
- Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives, such as event attendance and # of target accounts reached.
- Audience Engagement:
- Implement Winning by Design strategies to maximize attendee engagement during live and virtual events.
- Leverage social media platforms and other channels to create pre-event buzz and post-event follow-up.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for marketing initiatives and events.
- Integrate cost-effective strategies based on Winning by Design principles without compromising quality.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on event management and content creation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Creativity and innovation in approaching marketing challenges.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with virtual event platforms and technology.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in event marketing.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
