Frequently Asked Questions

If I’d like to cancel my membership, how long do I have to cancel after signing up?

You have up to 7 days to cancel for a full refund, should you decide you no longer want to join the Institute. After 7 days, you can cancel your membership at any time. Your cancellation will go into effect as of your next renewal date.

What can I expect upon signing up?

Once you join, you’ll receive a welcome message from the Growth Institute team outlining what’s included in your membership, how to access each benefit, and where to begin based on your role and interests.

You’ll also receive immediate access to the members-only portal, where you can explore courses, view upcoming events, engage with the peer network via Slack, read the latest Growth Journal, and stay connected to new insights as they’re released.

Who is the Growth Institute designed for?

The Growth Institute is designed for senior revenue, operations, and executive leaders responsible for growth outcomes. Most members are CxOs, RevOps leaders, and experienced operators navigating complexity, scale, or change — rather than early-career practitioners or frontline contributors.

Is the Growth Institute a sales or marketing community?

No. The Growth Institute is not a sales forum, lead-generation community, or vendor marketplace. It is designed for thoughtful exchange, learning, and research — with an emphasis on credibility, discretion, and real-world application.

How is the Growth Institute different from standalone courses or content libraries?

The Growth Institute combines structured education with peer dialogue, events, case-based discussion, and ongoing research. Rather than consuming content in isolation, members engage with ideas over time — comparing perspectives, pressure-testing thinking, and applying frameworks alongside others facing similar decisions.

What is the difference between Growth Institute membership and the Ambassador Program?

The Ambassador Program is a select community of certified GTM leaders who actively contribute to and advocate Winning by Design’s frameworks, get early access to research, exclusive webinars, and priority event access — focused on thought leadership and peer collaboration among practitioners. Acceptance is selective and requires Revenue Architecture certification.

The Growth Institute is a broader executive membership offering ongoing access to advanced learning (including Revenue & Growth Architecture), peer networks, case studies, research, and curated events designed to help executives make better growth decisions and lead complex revenue systems over time. Joining the Growth Institute requires a paid annual membership.

What courses do members have access to?

Members receive access to a curated set of advanced courses covering modern go-to-market design. These courses focus on systems, decision frameworks, and patterns leaders can apply across teams and growth stages, rather than tactical skill training.

All courses are included with enrollment, at no added cost.

Will the courses be available at times convenient for EMEA and APAC participants?

Our courses are scheduled in locations and at times tailored to fit perceived demand. Typically, this lends itself to scheduling courses to fit the calendars of US-centric learners. However, we can and do offer EMEA- and APAC-friendly courses if demand warrants. If you wish to enroll in a course that is EMEA- or APAC-friendly, please let us know and we will try to accommodate.

Is there a recommended order for taking the courses?

There is no definitive order, however the ideal progression would be the following:

How are case studies shared with members?

Members will receive case study materials and questions in advance, which they will prepare answers to in anticipation of the case discussion.

The case discussions will be facilitated by a WbD expert in a live Zoom classroom setting, with active participation expected, as members dissect and debate the cases – offering an interactive environment to discuss real-world examples.

What are the research working groups and how do they work?

Growth Institute members have the unique ability to publish working papers alongside their peers and Winning by Design, which can effectively place your name at the center of go-to-market innovation and thought leadership. This is accomplished via the Institute’s research working groups — small groups of peers collaborating over a few weeks/months on a topic of interest with the intent of publishing bespoke, insightful findings, aided by Winning by Design experts and researchers and later amplified via Winning by Design’s expansive marketing channels.

Research working groups are introduced and formed on a rolling basis as topics and interest emerge.

What local chapters currently exist?

Currently, local chapters exist in the following locations/regions:

  • APAC
  • United Kingdom
  • Nordics
  • Belgium
  • Germany
  • Netherlands
  • Brazil
  • East Canada

Chapter locations are continuously added as demand dictates.

What events do Growth Institute members have access to?

Members are granted access to attend Impact Roadshows hosted around the globe, as well as exclusive, members-only online sessions, as well as in-person, chapter-hosted sessions. Members will receive priority access to register for our flagship Impact Summits, however, we do not guarantee invites to these highly-curated one-day events, nor are tickets to our Impact Summits included in Growth Institute membership.

How often is the Growth Journal published?

The Growth Journal is published quarterly and included with membership. Each edition features original research, emerging frameworks, and executive-level insight drawn from real-world growth work.

How much time do members typically spend participating in the Growth Institute?

Participation is flexible by design. Some members engage deeply in courses, events, and research groups, while others stay connected through the Growth Journal, select discussions, or periodic sessions. The Institute is meant to support leaders over time — not demand a fixed weekly commitment.
