HOSTED BY WbD EXPERTS
Biweekly sessions offering time to dive deep into timely topics, connect, ask questions, and share news with fellow Growth Institute members.
The Winning by Design Growth Institute is a learning and research ecosystem built for executives navigating shifting growth models, rising expectations, and increasing complexity. Here, revenue leaders develop the frameworks, systems thinking, and shared language needed to design predictable, compounding growth.

What used to work no longer produces the same results. Tactics are still firing, teams are still busy, dashboards are still full — yet confidence is slipping. Growth discussions increasingly revolve around symptoms instead of causes, and decisions feel heavier because the margin for error is shrinking. You sense the model is changing, but the path forward isn’t obvious, and relying on yesterday’s playbooks feels riskier with every quarter.
As expectations rise, so does the pressure to be right. Leaders are expected to form strong points of view, align teams, and influence executives — often without the benefit of shared language, external validation, or peer comparison. Raising uncertainty can feel like exposing weakness, so decisions get made in isolation. Over time, this creates quiet doubt: Is this the best way forward, or just the most familiar?
The Growth Institute combines structured education, peer perspective, real-world evidence, and shared moments of learning so leaders don’t have to navigate uncertainty alone, rely on outdated playbooks, or make high-stakes decisions in isolation.
Enroll in structured learning designed for leaders responsible for growth outcomes — not tactics. Our Revenue and Growth Architecture courses focus on systems thinking, modern growth models, and decision frameworks leaders can apply across teams, functions, and planning cycles as the market evolves. Members also receive access to our quarterly Growth Journal publication, in print.
Gain access to trusted global and local networks of experienced operators facing similar challenges. Convening in-person and online (Slack), the community provides a space to compare notes, pressure-test thinking, and gain perspective from peers — without posturing, selling, or performance.
Join curated gatherings — both virtual and in-person — where leaders step out of execution mode and into reflection. Events create space to explore emerging ideas, learn from others navigating similar inflection points, and reconnect with first principles before making what comes next decisions.
Participate in guided case study discussions led by Winning by Design experts, each focused on real-world examples of companies operating at scale. Contribute to Institute research groups and co-publish working papers with Winning by Design, putting you at the forefront of GTM innovation.
All included with Growth Institute membership.
Rather than teaching isolated skills or tactics, these courses focus on the underlying science — how acquisition, retention, and expansion interact as a system, how data and process shape outcomes, and how leaders can design growth that compounds instead of decays.
Unlimited, ungated enrollment granted to all Institute members.
Executives trained to date
Learn how to architect a full, modern revenue system, across six scientific models—from monetization and data models to growth and GTM alignment.
Move beyond tactics and dashboards and instead design scalable, resilient growth systems that compound over time—even as complexity increases.
Learn how to standardize, interpret, and use data across the full customer lifecycle by applying the Bowtie data model.
Learn how to analyze performance data, formulate and test hypotheses, and craft compelling narratives that inform executive-level discussions.
The Growth Institute connects you with a global peer network of experienced revenue and operations leaders navigating similar inflection points. These are practitioners making real decisions — not theorists or vendors. The value isn’t consensus or quick answers, but perspective: the ability to compare approaches, surface blind spots, and pressure-test thinking with people who understand the complexity and stakes of modern growth.
Members can also engage through local chapters, where conversations are more refined, insights more nuanced, and relationships more accessible. Chapter locations are continuously added as demand dictates.
Growth Institute events create space for leaders to step out of execution mode and reconnect with first principles. These gatherings bring together experienced operators, researchers, and practitioners to explore how revenue leadership is evolving — and what it takes to design growth systems that hold up under pressure, scale responsibly, and earn long-term trust.
Priority/Ungated access granted to all Institute members.
A forward view of upcoming Growth Institute sessions, workshops, and gatherings available to members.

These case studies are not meant to be read in isolation. Within the Growth Institute, they become shared material — examined, debated, and pressure-tested alongside peers who bring different perspectives, contexts, and operating constraints. Leaders work through the underlying decisions, assumptions, and trade-offs together, using real examples to sharpen judgment rather than chase outcomes.
By exploring cases collectively, members gain more than insight — they develop a deeper understanding of why certain approaches work, where they break, and how similar patterns may show up inside their own organizations.
What’s included:
→ Unlimited access to advanced executive courses covering Revenue Architecture, Growth Architecture, and modern GTM design — focused on systems, not tactics.
→ Curated peer networks — both global and local — of experienced revenue and operations leaders, designed for thoughtful dialogue, perspective sharing, and decision pressure-testing — convening in-person and via Slack.
→ Priority access to world-class events, including global summits, regional roadshows, and live members-only virtual sessions exploring emerging ideas and real-world application.
→ Case studies worked through collectively, where members analyze decisions, trade-offs, and patterns together rather than consuming static success stories.
→ Ongoing exposure to applied research and frameworks grounded in how growth actually compounds across acquisition, retention, and expansion — with the option to contribute to bespoke working papers.
→ Bonus access to our Growth Journal quarterly publication — your guide to building sustainable revenue growth. Members receive the print editions delivered.
Membership is designed for leaders who value clarity over noise, perspective over opinion, and systems over short-term fixes.
Each quarter, members receive the Growth Journal in print — Winning by Design’s flagship research publication. The journal distills original research, emerging growth patterns, and modern operating frameworks into clear, executive-ready insight, shaped by ongoing work with scaling technology companies and growth leaders.
Rather than reacting to trends, the Growth Journal focuses on what’s changing underneath them — helping leaders anticipate shifts, refine their thinking, and stay grounded in principles that hold up as markets, models, and expectations evolve.
Once you join, you’ll receive a welcome message from the Growth Institute team outlining what’s included in your membership, how to access each benefit, and where to begin based on your role and interests.
You’ll also receive immediate access to the members-only portal, where you can explore courses, view upcoming events, engage with the peer network via Slack, read the latest Growth Journal, and stay connected to new insights as they’re released.
The Growth Institute is designed for senior revenue, operations, and executive leaders responsible for growth outcomes. Most members are CxOs, RevOps leaders, and experienced operators navigating complexity, scale, or change — rather than early-career practitioners or frontline contributors.
No. The Growth Institute is not a sales forum, lead-generation community, or vendor marketplace. It is designed for thoughtful exchange, learning, and research — with an emphasis on credibility, discretion, and real-world application.
The Growth Institute combines structured education with peer dialogue, events, case-based discussion, and ongoing research. Rather than consuming content in isolation, members engage with ideas over time — comparing perspectives, pressure-testing thinking, and applying frameworks alongside others facing similar decisions.
The Ambassador Program is a select community of certified GTM leaders who actively contribute to and advocate Winning by Design’s frameworks, get early access to research, exclusive webinars, and priority event access — focused on thought leadership and peer collaboration among practitioners. Acceptance is selective and requires Revenue Architecture certification.
The Growth Institute is a broader executive membership offering ongoing access to advanced learning (including Revenue & Growth Architecture), peer networks, case studies, research, and curated events designed to help executives make better growth decisions and lead complex revenue systems over time. Joining the Growth Institute requires a paid annual membership.
Members receive access to a curated set of advanced courses covering modern go-to-market design. These courses focus on systems, decision frameworks, and patterns leaders can apply across teams and growth stages, rather than tactical skill training.
All courses are included with enrollment, at no added cost.
Our courses are scheduled in locations and at times tailored to fit perceived demand. Typically, this lends itself to scheduling courses to fit the calendars of US-centric learners. However, we can and do offer EMEA- and APAC-friendly courses if demand warrants. If you wish to enroll in a course that is EMEA- or APAC-friendly, please let us know and we will try to accommodate.
There is no definitive order, however the ideal progression would be the following:
Members will receive case study materials and questions in advance, which they will prepare answers to in anticipation of the case discussion.
The case discussions will be facilitated by a WbD expert in a live Zoom classroom setting, with active participation expected, as members dissect and debate the cases – offering an interactive environment to discuss real-world examples.
Growth Institute members have the unique ability to publish working papers alongside their peers and Winning by Design, which can effectively place your name at the center of go-to-market innovation and thought leadership. This is accomplished via the Institute’s research working groups — small groups of peers collaborating over a few weeks/months on a topic of interest with the intent of publishing bespoke, insightful findings, aided by Winning by Design experts and researchers and later amplified via Winning by Design’s expansive marketing channels.
Research working groups are introduced and formed on a rolling basis as topics and interest emerge.
Currently, local chapters exist in the following locations/regions:
Chapter locations are continuously added as demand dictates.
Members are granted access to attend Impact Roadshows hosted around the globe, as well as exclusive, members-only online sessions, as well as in-person, chapter-hosted sessions. Members will receive priority access to register for our flagship Impact Summits, however, we do not guarantee invites to these highly-curated one-day events, nor are tickets to our Impact Summits included in Growth Institute membership.
The Growth Journal is published quarterly and included with membership. Each edition features original research, emerging frameworks, and executive-level insight drawn from real-world growth work.
Participation is flexible by design. Some members engage deeply in courses, events, and research groups, while others stay connected through the Growth Journal, select discussions, or periodic sessions. The Institute is meant to support leaders over time — not demand a fixed weekly commitment.
You have up to 7 days to cancel for a full refund, should you decide you no longer want to join the Institute. After 7 days, you can cancel your membership at any time. Your cancellation will go into effect as of your next renewal date.
We’ll help you understand what’s blocking predictable revenue and recommend the best path forward for your team.
