How do you get a 2.5k+ field organization of sellers to speak the same language?

You partner with one of the best in the business, Winning by Design, to deploy a singular sales methodology to better equip our teams.

Over the last 3 months, a small group of Sales Enablement leaders had the opportunity to learn a SaaS-focused sales methodology and how to deploy globally.

I am confident that through this methodology, we will be able to level up as a sales organization and better drive #IMPACT with our clients.

A few weeks ago we joined forces with Winning by Design. We started a 360 approach to level up everything from sales org, to processes, tool stack and of course our GTM market approach. (why? well spoiler #BANT, #MEDDIC all nice but not state of the art because they are #seller-centric and not #customer-centric. They all have their importance but falling short covering the entire funnel from prospecting, closing/winning to onboarding and LTV -> that is why we adopt the #SPICED framework).

For me as a Rep (long time ago) and as Revenue Leader, the SPICED framework was and is a game changer. The impact on GTM, the operational level, the business model and the underlying data required makes it unbeatable for me.

In the following week, all our Reps will go through the best in class sales and customer success training covering the entire sales funnel, skills, mindset and coaching frameworks.
This is a massive investment into our company’s future and primarily in our current talent to develop sales & customer success ⭐️ superstars ⭐️

I recently completed the ‘Mastership in Revenue Architecture’ course and can’t begin to tell you how useful it has been. As a revenue professional, understanding the baseline models of the revenue machine is crucial for success, and too often we spend our time downloading the ‘software’ of sales success without really getting to understand the ‘operating system’ that everything runs on. This is where the Revenue Architecture model kicks in.

This isn’t a course on ‘how to sell’ or ‘where to find your ICP’ – this is a course that covers the fundamentals of GTM model design and execution, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you have chosen to build a career as a revenue professional, you should consider this course an update to your core OS.

The most advanced and complete SaaS sales / GTM framework (and training) I’ve ever come across. PERIOD!

I’ve consumed all the most famous sales methods you can think of. But it always felt like the picture was incomplete and something was missing. That was until I discovered WbD and their unique YouTube videos. It literally blew me away and change my view on SaaS sales methodology. Forget about tricks to “close the deal” and wing it like the pro…If like me you’ve been longing for a sales training framework that breathe data, can reconcile all other methods you’ve learned about, put processes and models first, then your search is over.

Rather than simply sign off, I want to say I’m DELIGHTED with the output we have now…Overall, I’m blown away by the work that has gone into this. This significantly supports us to raise the bar and deliver a notably higher standard of CS. This WILL become what we live and breathe within CS, and I know the team will embrace the content, structure and guidance it provides.

They have a very easy-to-use learning system and blueprints you can download to help with learning. They conducted live sessions, which were very interactive; the instructor worked with all members of the course and showed a very high level of professionalism and, to top it off, had great energy.

After our first class of Prospecting with Intent with Winning by Design I’m excited to rework emails in our sequences.

The “RRR” Framework has helped us realize we need to be better at providing value for our clients in our emails. I’m pumped to see what this will do for our SDR team! If you are an SDR leader or an SDR I recommend learning about “RRR”- Relevance, Reward, and Request.

The trainers are incredible, as well as the platform itself. The first thing they teach you is how people learn — then they show you how we’ll utilize that knowledge to make our time training together more impactful.

Their process exposes you to the information multiple times and in various ways (read, watch, talk it out). The collateral provided is helpful to reference back to as well. Trainers are personable and make the courses more enjoyable.

Like most things these days, a lot of that has become data-driven, and in my opinion Jacco van der Kooij and the team at Winning by Design have a lock on what metrics you need to inform your strategy and drive growth.

Sales Management Training

Sales management training courses equip trainees with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in sales. Courses are offered in person or online. In some cases, programs utilize a hybrid model in which trainees work online some days and meet in person with instructors and learners on others. There are many different types of sales management training programs. For example, if you are looking to become a field sales manager, you might try looking for a program that specifically focuses on field sales. Finding the program that’s tailored to your specific needs is the best way to take control of your learning and ensure the success of your sales endeavors.

Online sales courses have skyrocketed in popularity in recent years due to the flexibility they offer learners. Online programs, unlike those offered in person, can typically be completed on your own time. This flexibility can be especially helpful for those that work or go to school during the day, as they can log into their training programs in the evening or on weekends. Searching for the best sales courses online can yield many helpful results and give you a better idea of what’s out there. It can also be a good idea to outline your specific needs and desired or must-have features to narrow your options.

In addition, by searching for the top sales training programs 2022, you can browse a list of some of the most helpful programs currently on the market. Some programs are no longer offered, so viewing an updated list is recommended to ensure you find the highest quality program available in 2022. While choosing the right training program can be difficult, especially considering the number of courses being offered, you can more easily choose between programs by identifying your specific needs, determining your budget, and considering what you ultimately hope to get out of the program.

Winning by Design offers sales management training courses with the end goal of helping users earn role-based training certifications. By unifying sales, marketing, and customer success, this solution helps users implement a common methodology and language to keep everybody on the same page at all times. Winning by Design continually works alongside you to achieve more sustainable growth over time. This is critical to promoting the growth of your sales department over time. With the right tools and strategies, you can be well on your way to greater success.

Best Sales Management Training

Think that the last thing that a newly promoted frontline manager wants is to sit through a series of management classes? Think again. In 2021, IBM polled more than 14,000 people in the business world and found out that 43% of them placed career advancement opportunities at the top of the list of things they wanted from their employers. More than a third said that they wanted to have continuous learning opportunities. Those who aren’t getting this knowledge from their employer are looking elsewhere for help. No wonder so many of them are conducting online searches for “sales training programs near me.”

Your managers are looking to improve their skills, so give them the best sales management training courses available. Offered through our highly regarded Revenue Academy, Winning by Design’s courses are created for managers of all levels, so we offer sales training courses for beginners as well as for those with more experience under their belt. Participants can start off with classes that give them the basics of management, then work their way up to more advanced strategies for getting the most from their teams. For more information about the management courses that we offer, check out our sales management course outline on the Revenue Academy page.

One of the reasons that Winning by Design has the best online sales courses is the fact that all of our courses are built on the same methodology. That means that your entire Revenue Team — Sales, Sales Development, Business Development, Customer Success, and Revenue Management — speaks the same language. They can easily communicate with each other. Because your managers are trained in the same methodology, they can learn how to do more than just track the progress of their team members. They can be the kinds of coaches that help them reach their goals.

Frontline Management Training

We’ve all seen this scenario play out time and time again: one of a company’s top account representatives gets promoted to frontline manager. Expectations are high because this person was such a standout on the sales team. All of their new reports are hoping to learn how they were able to bring in so many new accounts. Division heads are looking forward to seeing an increase in sales. And top-level executives are keeping a close eye on the bottom line. That’s a lot of pressure to put on anyone, especially someone who is stepping into a leadership role for the first time.

Most executives think that they can pick out the people on their sales team who are ready to move up the ladder. They’re looking for those who show “leadership skills,” which has been proven to be a less-than-perfect predictor of success. In fact, those team members who are determined to have “high potential” are often not natural leaders. According to research published in the Harvard Business Review, well over a third of rising stars who are promoted to leadership positions don’t stick around for long. They get discouraged because they don’t have all of the skills to do the job.

How can you tell whether a newly hired frontline manager is going to excel? More and more, the determining factor is taking strategic sales management courses that can give them the knowledge they need. This doesn’t mean having them scroll through a strategic sales management PDF or sit through a strategic sales management PowerPoint presentation. They need classes where they can interact with an instructor, get help with real-life problems, and learn about strategic sales planning.

But the truth is that few frontline managers have received any sales management training at all. That means many people promoted to management positions don’t start out with the skills they need to bring out the best in their teams. At Winning by Design, the leader in accelerating and optimizing recurring revenue for B2B organizations, our training prepares sales managers for their new job with courses that teach them how to be better coaches for the sales reps that they manage, what frameworks they should use in order to do that coaching, and what cadence of coaching meetings they should use to manage their teams and guide them toward success. We were already a leader in sales training topics in 2021 and have already added to our offerings for 2022 and beyond.

Frontline managers are the key to growth in any organization because they can influence dozens of sales reps over the course of their career. “How we work, manage, and coach our teams has evolved so much in the past few years,” says Kevin Dorsey, Winning by Design’s Practice Lead for Revenue Leadership. “Without strong sales leadership, you can’t scale, grow, or develop your reps to their true potential.” If a manager has great sales experiences but little or no idea how to motivate their team, they are not going to be as effective as they can be. The same goes for those who are inspiring leaders but don’t have a handle on modern sales strategies. In today’s world, managers need both.

Despite this, there’s a shortage of courses out there to help frontline managers develop all the skills they need. That’s why when you’re in the market for sales management training strategies for developing a successful modern sales team, you should look no farther than Winning by Design. Our frontline manager classes — we think of them as our own sales management academy — are a great way to help newly minted managers start out on firm footing and give veterans the best tools to help their teams reach their goals. And our industry-recognized sales management certification gives your team the credentials they need.

Our online sales manager training is just one of the options available from Winning by Design. We cover all parts of your revenue team, from Business Development all the way to Customer Success. We also offer classes for top-level executives on how they can architect their revenue in order to achieve sustainable growth. All these courses use the same methodology, developed by the experts at Winning by Design. This ensures that everyone in your GTM team is always on the same page.

Sales Management Online Course

When you’re comparing the many online training programs, look for a company that has experience in a digital environment. Winning by Design has been focused on remote learning from the very beginning, so it’s no surprise that we offer the industry’s best sales management courses. Run by experienced trainers who know how to keep the discussion interesting and draw participants into the conversation, these sales courses are designed to keep your team members engaged and energized. Our trainers come from the business world, so they aren’t just reading from a book. They have wide-ranging experience that can be applied to any number of real-life situations.

Our trainers are experts in management, something that sets us apart from just about everybody else in the industry. They understand how much Software as a Service (SaaS) has changed the way we do business and give managers the confidence to lead their teams through this sales model. No other marketing and sales management course gives you as thorough a look at the recurring revenue model and how companies can use it to maximize their profits.

Among its many offerings, Winning by Design has two great programs built for today’s frontline managers. Ideal for newly promoted sales managers, our Managing for Impact course recognizes that not everyone comes to the table with the same skill sets. If a manager needs to build up their leadership skills in order to motivate their team, this online sales management course is the right place to start. It includes eight hours of live instruction that include role-playing exercises, breakout sessions, and answers to questions from participants. It includes advice on how to have candid conversations with team members and constructive one-on-one meetings.

Another of our sales management training programs is Managing for Leadership. It’s designed to build on the skills that participants already have, helping them become better leaders in the process. The eight-hour course starts with revenue metrics, focusing on which ones matter most and how to use them to set clear goals for a sales team. It also guides managers on how to create a weekly, monthly, and quarterly coaching cadence to make sure their team continue to hone their own skills and explains how scorecards can help their team make more effective calls. Both of these courses include sales management certification.

Our online sales management courses are a perfect lead-in to Revenue Architecture, which explains the principles of recurring revenue and how to apply them to your business. Geared toward Chief Revenue Officers and other top-level executives, it’s also a good choice for those who are moving into revenue leadership roles. It’s an in-depth look at the recurring revenue model and how it can be used to optimize the customer’s journey.

Part of the Winning by Design’s strategic sales training program are informative blueprints, interesting videos, and best-in-class frameworks, available to anyone who’s taken our courses. They provide next-level instruction on a variety of topics related to the recurring revenue model.

Best Sales Management Training

When it comes to the best sales management training, one size does not fit all. Learning styles differ from person to person, and so what works for one may be less than ideal for another. If your entire sales team is going through a training program together, it’s important to consider the needs of the group as a whole and determine which tools or solutions are going to best enable them to reach their learning goals. For example, if your team fails to reach a consensus on in-person vs. online, you might choose a hybrid program that provides each person with flexible learning opportunities.

You should also consider where your team currently stands. Do your trainees already have the basics down, or are there foundational elements that they need to be taught from scratch? Sales training courses for beginners can be great for those that are just getting started in the sales world but will likely fail to challenge learners that are already ahead of the game and looking to move on to bigger and better things. Different programs cater to learners of varying skill levels, so it’s important to be sure to choose courses that are designed for your needs.

As discussed previously, sales training online courses are among the most popular programs, as they can be completed on a more flexible basis. Usually, instructors remain in close contact with students, so even if you run into trouble or need to speak to someone directly, you can easily get in touch with your instructor. They can easily answer your questions via chat or email. In cases where issues cannot be resolved otherwise, they are usually able to hop on video chat and speak with learners face-to-face.

Sales training companies offer sales training and typically work alongside learners to ensure their continued success. Partnering with a sales training company can be a great way to get your sales team through a training program without having to provide the tools and software yourself. This can also be a good option for those that lack the internal skills and resources to adequately train employees on their own. A certified sales training program can give your team the skills and confidence they need to succeed in sales and give them the tools they need to tackle whatever challenges they may encounter down the road.

Top Sales Courses Online

The top sales courses online are highly sought after by companies thanks to their top-notch training materials and proven track records of success. There are a wide range of sales training programs available today, but not all are equal—not all prepare learners to the same extent, which is why it’s important to do your research before choosing a program. You want to be sure that trainees receive accurate, up-to-date information, as best practices are constantly evolving, and it’s critical to keep up with current recommendations to achieve success with your sales program.

Sales courses vary in length and, in the case of online programs, can be completed remotely on learners’ own time. If you aren’t looking to participate in an entire sales program but take a course or two, you can search for short courses in sales management programs. These can be quickly completed and usually cover more specialized topics. On the other hand, if you’re new to sales and need to lay some foundational knowledge before proceeding to more advanced topics, completing a program for beginners may be the best option for you. These programs are robust and cover a variety of topics related to sales. They don’t always go into great depth but help learners get a grasp on the basics.

Those that successfully complete training programs are awarded a sales management certification. Participating in a sales management certification online program is one of the best and most convenient ways to become certified in sales. You can access your training materials anytime, anywhere, and get in touch with your instructors as needed. Some programs are better designed for certain types of learners than others, so it’s important to do your research to determine the best course or program for your unique needs. If you’re a sales manager, for instance, and you want your entire sales department to complete training, then you should look for a program designed for group learning. Conversely, if you intend to go through the program alone, it may be best to choose a program that’s geared towards individual learners.

Strategic Sales Management Courses

Strategic sales management courses are essential for anybody looking to enter a strategic management position. But what is strategic sales management? Strategic sales involves the strategies and processes designed to target potential customers to sell a product or service. Strategic sales managers oversee this process and ensure that everything runs smoothly and according to plan. Participating in strategic sales training is a great way to learn more about this process and gain the knowledge necessary to be successful in your role.

There are many different types of sales management courses you can take. For example, if you’re looking to improve your skills as a leader, you can take a course on leadership. If you want to learn more about how to streamline your tasks, you might consider taking a course on more efficient management. Some programs even demonstrate how to work with various tools and software, such as automation tools and dashboards, to simplify the sales process. Staying up to date with the latest sales-related technology is critical to your success in sales overall.

Ultimately, while finding the best sales management courses depends heavily on your business and individual needs, it’s important to ensure, no matter your learning goals, that your sales program of choice is committed to understanding your unique goals. Winning by Design’s training program pairs quality frameworks with a hands-on teaching style to provide learners with the skills they need to maximize sales revenue. Winning by Design offers a number of different training courses, including Selling For Impact, Customer Success For Impact, and Revenue Architecture. By partnering with Winning by Design, you can work towards greater sales goals and unify your team around a common language that everyone can understand and work within.
